The first beta of Lumenwerk opens in mid-November 2026. It starts closed, with a small group of YouTubers and editors who cut long-form video every week, and grows from there.
What you can test
- Lumi, the AI that edits your whole video: you describe the edit in a chat, Lumi plans it and builds it in the timeline.
- The editor: a multitrack editor modeled on DaVinci Resolve, with undo for every step, Lumi's runs included, and MP4 rendering in the browser.
- Every tool on its own: Autocut, Auto Zoom, AutoScale, Studio Sound, Subtitles, Titles & Keywords and Lumi Artist.
- Export to DaVinci Resolve plus subtitles as SRT. Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro are in beta.
What it costs
Nothing. Nobody is charged during the beta. Each beta key comes with a credit budget for the cloud AI, and everything that runs on your computer, like Studio Sound, rendering and export, is free anyway. The prices on the pricing page are provisional and may still change before launch.
Your footage stays with you
That holds in the beta too: the video opens in your browser and is never uploaded. Only what a feature needs goes out: the audio track for the transcript, text for the AI and, for some AI features, a few low-resolution still frames.
How to get in
- Join the waitlist on the homepage with your email address.
- When it's your turn, we email you a beta key.
- Create your account, enter the key, and start with your own footage.
During the beta, a feedback button sits in the bottom right corner of the app. Bugs, ideas and "this felt wrong" are all welcome; that is what the beta is for.
