AutoScaleAIBeta
Picture-in-picture that follows your B-roll
AutoScale watches your screen recordings and other inserts, puts each one where you talk about it and shrinks the talking head into a corner while it plays. When the insert ends, you are back in full frame.
How it works
- 1
Add your inserts
Drop in screen recordings, B-roll or slides next to your main recording.
- 2
AutoScale matches them
It compares a few small stills of each insert with what you say and places it at the right moment.
- 3
Pick a look
Choose a picture-in-picture style, then move or resize anything on the layout lane.
What it does
- Timed to your words
- Each insert starts where you begin to talk about it, not where you happened to drop it.
- Smooth layout changes
- Back-to-back inserts keep you small, and a new corner is reached with a glide instead of a jump.
- By hand, for free
- A Layout block puts you small in a corner wherever you drop it, without any AI and without credits.

Questions
What is AutoScale for?
Tutorials, reviews and explainers where you talk over screen recordings or B-roll. AutoScale places each insert where you mention it and shows you as picture-in-picture while it plays, so you skip the manual layout work.
What does AutoScale send to the AI?
A few low-resolution still frames of your inserts and the transcript text. The video files themselves stay on your computer and are never uploaded.
Can I edit the layout afterwards?
Yes. Where the speaker sits is its own lane in the editor. Change the corner, the size or the timing of any layout clip, or remove it.
Does picture-in-picture export to DaVinci Resolve?
Yes. The layout moves export to DaVinci Resolve as position and scale. The rounded or shadowed looks only render in the browser; Resolve gets a plain rectangle.
