Guide
Everything you need to build your own agent: how steps connect, in what order they run, what a run costs, and every step explained.
An agent is the way you edit, written down as steps. Your video goes in at the start, every step does one job, and the finished video comes out at the end. Once it's built, it edits every new video the same way.
Everything runs in your browser. Your video is never uploaded: only the sound, the text and single frames go to the AI, and only for the steps that need it.
Every box on the canvas is a step. Inputs sit on the left and top edge, outputs on the right and bottom. Drag from an output to an input to connect two steps: the wire carries what one step hands to the next.
Only ports of the same kind connect, and the color tells you the kind. An input takes one wire; an output can feed as many steps as you like.
Every agent starts with the Video node and ends with at least one Render Video. Neither can be deleted. In between, the timeline runs as a chain from step to step.
Add more outputs when you want files besides the MP4: a project file for DaVinci Resolve, Premiere or Final Cut, captions, the audio, a chapter list.
Steps run one after another along the wires: a step starts once everything it needs has arrived. Order matters. Autocut before Subtitles means the subtitles fit the cut video.
A step that leads to no output doesn't run, and the editor warns you. A step whose inputs stay empty, for example after a Condition took the other path, is skipped, and so is everything that depends on it.
A good order for most videos: Transcribe and Autocut first, then sound, then zooms and layouts, then text and graphics, the outputs last.
Steps marked Local run on your computer and are always free. Steps marked AI use credits: the price depends on the video's length, the model you pick and the thinking depth.
In the editor, the coin button estimates the price for videos from 5 to 60 minutes. The run page shows the exact price before you start. If an AI step fails, you get its credits back.
The prices in the step list below are for a 10-minute video with the default settings.
You don't have to wire it yourself. Describe how you edit, and Lumi builds the agent. In the editor, Lumi sits in a tab next to the steps: chatting is free, building and checking cost credits and show the price first. Every change comes as a suggestion you apply or leave.
Send Lumi a link to your YouTube channel, and it learns your style from your newest videos.
Lumenwerk's agents are a good start. Use one as it is, or duplicate it and change any step.

The recording you edit. It stays on your computer.
Files you pick when the agent runs: B-roll, screen recordings, music, an external mic.
A look for the steps after it: from the catalog, your channel, a reference video or images.
Turns the speech into words with times. A recording is only billed once.
Removes pauses, fillers, stutters, retakes and noises. The AI review keeps the ones you want.
Zooms on key words and punchlines, aimed at your face.
Switches between you and your inserts, picture-in-picture, matched to what you say.
Quick, smooth zooms at every jump cut.
Speeds up idle stretches of a screen recording, or fits it to a length.
Makes every clip look like the first one, or grades them all neutrally.
Hides faces and follows them as they move.
Clean, even voice like in a studio. Runs on your computer.
A tiny audio fade at every cut, so no cut clicks.
Lines up an external mic with the camera by its sound.
Music goes down while someone speaks.
Marks the beat of a song on the timeline to cut on.
Whooshes, pops and hits where the picture changes.
Subtitles over the whole video, simple or animated.
Chapter titles, lower thirds, lists and keywords on screen.
Plans the whole edit: cuts, zooms, inserts, titles, graphics, captions and sound.
Carries out the plan and has Lumi Artist build its graphics.
One motion graphic or still from your prompt, built and placed in the video.
Tell the editor AI what to do, in your words. Free.
Sends the video down one of two paths.
Joins two paths again: passes on whichever one ran.
Pauses so you can check. Approve, or say what to change and the steps before run again.
Finds black gaps, flash frames, offline media and loudness issues.
An MP4, rendered on your computer.
Opens in DaVinci Resolve, Premiere or Final Cut.
SRT, VTT or ASS for YouTube and players.
The edited sound as a file.
